In this series of two programs, instruction is given by David Howard, who has coached many top allet stars, including Gelsey Kirkland, Cynthia Gregory, and Natalia Mararova. During his career, he performed as a soloist with the Royal Ballet, and has taught allet since 1977. In Ballet Class for Beginners, he introduces the vocabulary of allet to the beginning student, and demonstrates the fundamental stances, emphasizing the correct posture.
